(a) No ship will be accepted contrary to the advice of the ADNOC Ship Vetting Department unless the decision to do so is taken by the CEO of ADNOC after assurance is provided that procedures have been put in place to mitigate the risks involved. This is to provide active intervention and management of the particular situation such that the risk profile is reduced to a tolerable level. (b) The conditional acceptance is a separate process that may only be used in extreme circumstances when it is business critical. The processes will be initiated by the ADNOC Ship Vetting Department and passed to the CEO of ADNOC, with details of what measures will be required to mitigate the imminent risk to the ADNOC Group, for approval. (c) The form for conditional acceptance shall be provided by the ADNOC Ship Vetting Department if deemed required.
